Description
rotary drum dryer machine belongs to a new generation of wood
drying equipment, also known as shavings dryer, which is designed
for wood chips /wood flakes drying. There are two main streams in
wood drying equipment: hot air dryer (also called wood chip dryer
or sawdust dryer) and single-channel rotary dryer (that is, for the
wet shavings played by the shavings machine and the wood chips
played by the chipper, also called shavings dryer, wood chip
dryer).
This series of shavings /chips /flakes /sawdust dryer can not only
dry wood chips, wet shavings, grass powder, sawdust, wood chips and
other biomass, but also according to the orientation of raw
materials, also suitable for livestock manure, wine trough slag,
grass, ginkgo leaf, blood powder, feather powder and other drying,
the product absorbs the advantages of high humidity rotary dryer
and air dryer, optimized combined wood drying machinery, Can
maximize the saving of drying costs, compared with the use of
tumble dryer, air dryer cost savings of 30%, 50%.
Wet material is fed via a rotary valve and a specially designed
infeed chute into the rotating drum. There, the heat is transferred
mainly through convection from the drying gases to the material for
water evaporation. At the end of the drum, the material is
pneumatically transported to cyclones where the material is
separated from the drying gases. One portion of the drying gases is
recirculated
to the mixing chamber for energy recovery and reduction of dryer
exhaust volume.
